Rainbow Baby

"Rainbow Babies" is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it doesn't mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy and hope.

This blog is in honor of our "Rainbow" Baby Girl that we are expecting in June of this year!

It is long overdue that I document our journey with the sweet baby girl that we have already fallen so helplessly in love with and that has given us a renewal of faith, hope and love after our tremendous loss three years ago. 

I've decided to give our new journey a new location and leave our previous blog to honor Lila & Cole's story. I'm so grateful for the lifetime of memories that we documented for them and I want to keep that special place sacred for them and do the same for our new addition:) 

That being said, I have alot of catching up to do! I am currently 19 weeks along and have many back stories and pictures that I want to add so I'll do that along the way as well as trying to keep current with what is going on now.

We have so many new friends and of course our families that want to closely follow us along as they did last time and I think this has proven a great way to keep everyone in the loop while allowing us to remember all our sweet (and comical) moments with our new little girl. 

I look forward to filling these pages and enjoying every second that we get to spend with her. She is so loved already and we are so blessed to know her!
